The active ingredient is capsaicin which effectively repels aphids, spider mites, thrips, leaf miners, whiteflies, lace bugs, leafhoppers, and scale. Use on foliage, stems, buds, fruits, and blooms. Hot Pepper Wax can also be used on root crops, legumes, indoor/outdoor ornamentals, and grasses. For application apply until foliage or surface is wet. Repeat application in 3-7 days for 2-3 weeks, until control is established. Once control is established, use every 2-4 weeks, as necessary to maintain control.
