Our D.E. controls spider mites, millipedes, aphids, and other crawling insects. It can be used indoors and outdoors for ants, cockroaches and earwigs. D.E. is the fossilized remains of tiny single cell aquatic plants called diatoms. D.E. is mined from naturally deposits of shells formed by tiny diatoms, single celled plants of the sea and the oceans' minerals. Insects venture into Diatomaceous Earth, pierce their skins or waxy shells on sharp edges of the diatom's siliceous shells and die of dehydration. It is non toxic and insects have not developed an immunity to D.E. Does not contain piperonyl butoxide.
