At Fertile Garden we take your security and privacy very seriously. When you choose to use our secure order form and you have a secure browser your information is about as secure as you can get. The information you submit is encrypted between your browser and the shopping cart server, and then between the server and our secure browser. We do not share, sell, or rent information you provide to us.

Ordering is easy by using our shopping cart.  Just fill out the information and submit.  If you are ordering online the order is secure. Your order is not valid until you have submitted it, so you can put items in your shopping cart and remove them whenever you wish before you submit your order.  You can change shipping methods to compare pricing on the items you want to order without being commited. With our shopping cart system you will have the choice of ordering online, email, faxing and mailing your order.  We use secure encryption for your protection so your credit card number is safe.  If you want to mail, fax, or email your order, add your choices to the shopping cart and choose that option during the checkout process.  You can call us at the number and time mentioned above.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, money orders and personal checks.  All checks or money order payments must be made in US funds.  Paying by check is the slowest in processing your order.  A $25.00 fee will be charged on all returned checks. We will verify funds at your bank before shipping in most cases.  Make checks payable to Fertile Garden.

COD orders are accepted with a limit of $250.00. In addition to regular shipping charges, there is a $10.00 per box COD fee. No COD's to P.O. Boxes or locations outside the U.S..

Item availability, prices, and policies are subject to change without notice. The price in effect when we receive your order is the price that you will be charged. We are not responsible for any typographical errors in the catalog.

Order Processing

Our goal is to have all orders shipped within 48 hours.  When Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3rd Day shipping is selected, that time starts from the time the package is picked up from the shipper, not from the time the order is placed and processed. Most products in our web site are in stock, however occasionally we may run out of a certain product.  In the event this happens we will contact you via e-mail or by phone or regular mail.  If the product is out of stock you will be given the option of putting the order on back-order.  Some products may be shipped directly from the manufacturer so when your order arrives and it is not complete, please wait a couple of days before you call. This is especially true with insect orders. They usually come direct from the supplier for freshness.

Shipping & Handling

We ship our products by UPS, FedEx, and US Postal Service. Delivery to your door usually takes 5 to 10 business days.  Shipping and handling is automatically calculated on your order when using our shopping cart. Some products are shipped from the manufacturer. If your order doesn't arrive complete, wait a few days before calling us, some orders may have products that ship from multiple locations.

Return Policy

Upon receipt of your order, make sure it is in good condition. If there is damage to the package, please call or email us at 800 373 3880 or sales@fertilegarden.com. All returns must be processed within 30 days of the invoice date. We give full credit for unopened product, received within 30 day return period less shipping and handling. The returned product should be in resaleable condition. Defective products received within the 30 day return period will be credited or replaced. All returns that do not conform to our Return Policy are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
